Well now my friend doesn't this Covid thing concentrate the minds.

I may have been preparing for this all along, at least since the last recent great economic grab and go in 2010. Since I fled the go-to-an-office every day thing I feel except for the dying to go out and dying if I do go out part (and the drying up of work) that I have sort been inured to this. I have worked from home a lot and for long stretches it's been me and the dog or more recently me, the Mrs and the dog. I have to work harder to get the order of appearance correct there so as not to get into fierce trouble. The dog won't mind I'll give him an extra bone later on.

"No dear" I sez to herself, "only joking, only joking. I'm only saying it for the newsletter honey."

Anyways, the dog can't even read. I think though that he can actually count up, perhaps even as far up as two.

The caption on the main image above is a little sour if you are used to a comfy & propaganda swallowing lifestyle. I think it's kinda funny but then I look again and maybe I don’t. But who has that ‘nice life’ anymore really. I don't know anyone with a good job or has it easy. There's a few hold out's in the Boomer class who have something set aside when there were pensions and fun work stuff put aside for the rainy day but for the rest of us non booomerang’s it's "everything is more expensive" and no one ever gets a raise. We have less. 'they have more' and it's only getting worse. In my experience only the lying bastards, corporations and their made up pals seem to get on recently.

The fact is we had warnings for years and instead of preparation well ... bitch, moan and so here we are. It's a life & death lesson- now we get to see what being locked up feels like, and welcome to being poor and hello unemployment and bonjour to the powerless and voicelessness of the dispossessed and the best of the best here it comes its "Oi vey" to the suddenly and possible horror of our actual mortality. Yes, no more social media posts for you sonny Jim.

America broke! Cry socialism and Obamacare now over the splurge of 'out of network' medical bills and not meeting the crushing deductible. In my opinion sorry to get political Warren and Bernie mentioned all of this and so ... do we lesson learn and change or go on and rescue the wealthy again with the second huge bailout in 10 years. Everyone you know will be so cleared out and powerless after this Covid wheel stops turning. Do you want to go back to the way it was or want to reset. I want something new I'm fed up of their two party tribal uselessness where the ordinary everybody borrows to put money in the bottom of a funnel to be ever and always hoovered upwards into the maw of a tiny fraction of the population. Where are these esteemed job creators now.

If I and we live that is. There's the rub. 80% will get smited, 20% of those will be really sick and need hospitalization and then maybe half of that 20% will be morbid and lucky to escape it. I made my will. Home made like everything else! Artisanal last will-&-testament making for the self employed stay at home writer and general factotum.
